Ethan Ansel Bailey

Ethan Bailey My brother and I decided to create this site as a record of sorts -- it is intended to give you, dear reader, the tools you need to choose quality products in your pursuit of the finer things.  We are both hard working, college educated, 40 hour a week bastards who try to sample the good life without going broke.

As you can see from my photo, I'm not the oldest -- and hence, most experienced -- guy in the world.  However, I do know what I like.  My opinion is not intended to be a mold for everyone to pour themselves into.  Not in the slightest; rather, my intent is to put forth my opinion solely as general knowledge.  If you agree, great! If not, that's okay too.  Click here to email me and let me know your thoughts.  Perhaps we can both learn from this experience.

Bio: I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from the Univ. of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1995.  Since then I've really put that Psych degree to work as a Programmer and Web Master at Offutt Systems in Greensboro, NC.  This site is my third offering to the Internet.  My other current functioning site is for my place of business, Offutt Systems Incorporated. Married to wife, Leslie Goodson Bailey, on May 9.

Favorites: Guinness Stout, Oregon IPA, Alternative and Classical music (great combo, eh?), astronomy, computers, fencing (the sport), La Unica and Davidoff cigars, and general science.

Favorite Quote: "Let us not be cowardly in the face of our actions.  Let us not afterward leave them in the lurch.  Remorse of conscience is indecent."     -Nietzsche

Lloyd Richard Bailey, Jr.

Lloyd Bailey, Jr. I was born in 1969 in the city that never sleeps.  My parents wisely left the place.  I hear since they elected a Republican mayor and Governor it's getting much better.  Anyway, I digress.  As you can see, I am the older of the Brothers Bailey.  I live in a rural community in Western North Carolina, so my exposure to the finer things is limited.  But, by God, when I am exposed, I expose myself fully.

I started smoking stogies in college, in an effort to keep myself awake during late-night study sessions.  My love for these heavenly items grew as I entered the work force and had the funds to experiment with different (and more expensive brands).  These explorations led to the cigars page.  If you have any thoughts or comments, e-mail me.

Bio: Attended Case Western Reserve University and UNC-Greensboro from 1987 to 1991.  I was wasting away as an Anthropology major until I chose the life of the working stiff instead.  A mistake, ultimately, I admit, but I refuse to dwell on it.  Too much fun to be had in life to worry about your mistakes.  Learn from 'em and move on.  This is my second venture on the information superhighway.  My first was launched as the commissioner of a United States Internet Football League.  Married to a gorgeous redhead, Tammy Jones Bailey, who puts up with my cigar smoking and football obsession.

Favorites: Harp Lager, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Alternative rock, Heavy Metal, and classical music, computers, football, Casa Blanca and Gispert Cigars.

Favorite Quote: "No arsenal or no weapon in the arsenals of the world is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women."     -Ronald Wilson Reagan
